Where To Go In Costa Rica
My friends and I have been planning Vacations To Go Costa Rica this coming Spring Break. And we were wondering of places we could visit Costa Rica during our vacations. So I did some research about the place, and I never thought that Costa Rica Vacations could be as beautiful as I heard.
As I explore more possibilities of where to go, I get more excited and anxious to go on the trip as I learn more about it. I've been seeing beautiful places on the internet and a lot of people are suggesting that it is a really good place to have a vacation. So I planned a tour for my friends and I to be able to check out as many places as we can during our stay. Here is the list of places I want to see.
San Jose
Since Costa Rica is known to have a lot of Spanish heritage, I decided to visit the city of San Jose. I heard they have a pleasant mixture of both traditional and modern Spanish architecture in San Jose. Teatro Nacional caught my attention mostly, the Parque Central, and the Legislative Assembly building interests me as well. Someone told me about the National Museum and the Museum of Gold is worth a visit. I am also planning for us to see the Parque Nacional, Parque Bolivar, and the Parque Morazan. San Jose is also the center for good excursions to the beautiful Meseta Central region.
Caribbean Coast
Me and my friends are such beach bums, so I looked for locations that has lots of beaches. And the Caribbean Coast has the most numerous beaches; among them is the Puerto Limon which is the biggest in all the Caribbean Coast Vacations.
I heard about this Paradisus Resort and they have lots of daytime and evening activities like water sports, scuba diving, tennis and paddle tennis, and discos and bars to visit during the night. I learned that they have a world-class spa with Jacuzzi, steam bath, gym, spinning room, and sauna. Also we might enjoy their variety of facial and body massages. They even have a batting cage, archery which I would love to try, bicycling, and rock-climbing as the latest addition to their resort.
At the south of Limon, Puerto Viejo can be found and it is said to be a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. Then enjoy the tropical rainforest Vacations, palm swamps, coral reefs, and the idyllic Caribbean beach after the sunrise by just heading straight to Manzanillo.
Poas Volcano National Park
It is a smoldering Poas Volcano as the name suggests, and it has the ONLY dwarf cloud forest in Costa Rica Vacations.
Tortuguero National Park
An area of great ecological diversity, this park protects the Atlantic green turtle that lays their egg on the ground. The exciting part here is the way of transportation to the park is only through a network of canals and lagoons, pretty interesting.
Corcovado National Park
It is a virgin rainforest that has lots of endangered species. I'd love to take a look at those endangered species. I also want to see their most popular bird sanctuary and the biggest tree ever in Costa Rica Vacations.
That's the end of my list and I hope my friends would agree on the choices that I made so we can all enjoy a nice vacation and tour in Costa Rica.

One of the countries all over the world that are frequented by tourists to enjoy an exciting zip line adventure is Costa Rica vacations.
Rainforest adventure parks are very popular in Costa Rica. In some ways, the idea of zipping above the rainforest canopy is synonymous with this country in the Central America. The concept of zip lining within the thickness of the Costa Rican rainforest Vacations was originally introduced during the 1970s. Zip Lining - An Alternative Way to Access and Learn About the Rainforests
Zip lining in the rainforests is characterized by inclined steel cables strung between trees at varying heights, with a freely-moving pulley suspended on these cables, by which a person can travel between the platforms propelled by gravity.
While it undoubtedly makes the tourists boost their adrenaline rush, this exciting activity offers an alternative and unique means for them to access the beautiful and remote areas deep in the tropical rainforests vacations of Costa Rica. In addition, zip lines also educate the riders on important facts about the rainforest, such as the ecology and conservation practices. Most parks offer this course to the tourists, accompanied by nature guides (commonly multi-lingual) who can give detailed facts and information, thus, opening their eyes to the natural beauty of the Costa Rican Vacations.
Having Fun, Testing Your Courage, and Overcoming Your Fears
Tourists could not ignore the fun that canopy zip line tours let them experience. Though it doesn't require any athletic skills just to try it, engaging in this activity requires courage and adventurous hearts. It is thrilling to travel fast from tree to tree high above the rainforest canopy, facing the fear of falling down from such a highly-elevated setting. But the tourists do not have to worry, because the ecotourism parks in Costa Rica make sure that this activity is completely safe. Every piece of equipment used is secure, and there are also trustworthy, professional instructors and tour guides ready to assist them during the course.

Ecotourism in Costa Rica Offers Fun Activities
There are fun activities that encourage tourists and travelers to engage in learning about the conservation of our environment especially the rainforests. These activities are most often listed on their things to do on their vacation. Some of these are the following:
Hiking and Nature Trekking - nothing beats having a good hike on a trail surrounded by trees, rivers, and the undergrowth of the jungle. Most ecotourism operators offer their visitors to enjoy a trip along the nature trail, accompanied by guides and instructors to educate them while they venture within the jungle.
Bird Watching - spotting bird species and watching their population in the rainforest is also an ecotourism activity which is growing in popularity, especially for bird-lovers. Armed with visual enhancing equipment such as binoculars and telescopes, tourists can learn a lot about the birds that reside in a particular location. Likewise, there are many ornithologists (scientists who specialize in studying bird species) that engage in this activity. There is an international event, the Christmas Bird Count organized by Audubon Society, in which all bird-enthusiasts and scientists all over the world are invited to participate in spotting and counting the bird species found in participating locations worldwide.
Aerial Tram Ride - watching the rich vegetation and ecosystem above the trees is one great adventure for the whole family. From young school-children to the elderly, riding an aerial tram is an opportunity to explore the great view above the rainforest canopy. Accompanied by nature guides, they will also learn facts about the jungles and the preservation and conservation of our natural resources.
How Most Ecotourism Operator Help Save the Rainforests Costa Rica

Some of the conservation and sustainability programs include the following:
Reforestation - many tropical forests are cut down every day to make use for other purposes such as making cow pastures, commercial infrastructures, and so on. An example program for reforestation in most ecotourism operators offers a chance for tourists and for the members of the community to replenish the depleted resources by planting new trees and recreating new forest and woodland areas.
Solid Waste Management - reusing, recycling and proper disposal of wastes are very important to keep our environment clean and to make our planet healthy. Together with community leaders, ecotourism operators are working to generate a change in attitudes toward waste. An example is by offering solid-waste classification, allowing visitors and local residents alike to see how it is possible to reduce the amount that goes to landfills by just the separation and proper disposal of waste.
Cleanup Projects - in order to keep the community clean and beautiful, tour operators participate in cleanup projects and activities within the local communities, employing the aid of their staffs and managing the procedure of proper waste management. Likewise, they also encourage all the members of the community to help in keeping the cleanliness of their surroundings and help save the environment.
Being Educators - one of the most common, as well as the most effective ways of contributing to the sustainability of the rainforests is by educating visitors about the importance and necessity of conserving the environment. Adding to the fun of the activities being offered by tour operators, tourists can learn eye-opening facts and important information about the earth's ecosystem in their vacation Costa Rica experience.
