Costa Rica has an extensive network of shuttle services that will take you almost all around the country.
This shuttle takes people from one hotel destination to the next one. They pick you up and with a couple of rest stops take you to your next hotel; you can even meet some interesting people on the mini-van (usually about 20 passengers maximum capacity on the van).
These shuttles are very comfortable, air conditioned and with experience and friendly drivers
